Mahogany Storage Chest Attributed to Maison Jansen with Galleried Marble Top

Fine mahogany storage chest attributed to Maison Jansen. This Louis XVI style double hi chest has three drawers beneath a pair of bronze grilled doors with a finely bronze galleried marble top. The center flanked by bronze fluted column sides and rears. The separation of the doors and drawers having a pull-out leather top writing service which can easily hold a computer of laptop. The indented bronze framed double boxed sides add fine character to this wonderful example of Jansen workmanship.
