Description
Mid-Century Modern Style Shelving Unit, Bookcase, Manner Perriand, Room Divider
Colorful modern shelving unit, bookcase, or room divider having modular storage spaces with two sliding doors. This unit can both stand on the floor or be mounted to a wall. French design in solid plywood and steel screws. Similar in form to Charlotte Perriand’s ‘Nuage’ shelving unit from 1940. Drawing on her experience of seeing cloud-like, wall-hung modular shelves in Kyoto, she developed her own version: functional, attractive and versatile.
