The dunce cigar tip cutter. Fine bronze sculpture depicting a seated man with his mouth wide open waiting on a cigar. A novelty cigar cutter depicting a man sitting on a stump with his mouth open ready to cut tip of a cigar, circa 1880. One of two as this is part of an extensive collection. A pair of these would prove quite rare.
Stamped, Pat’d Jan. 18. 81 and June 16 1885.
This is part of the personal collection purchased directly, from the estate of Jerry Terranova, Author of “Antique Cigar Cutter and Lighters” and “Great Cigar Stuff for Collectors”. One of many parts of this once in a lifetime, available for sale, collection from the worlds most sort after Cigar Aficionado. A must have for any collection. Man cave or cigar room.
